Our mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. It’s not just a game, it’s game-changing.
In 1997, the PGA Tour had a vision to launch a youth organization that would introduce the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Thanks to the commitment of our donors, volunteers, coaches, participants, families and community, First Tee - Greater Richmond is where it is today. The countless success stories should inspire, drive, and motivate us to do more.
Our courses build character. Our programs give kids a safe place to grow with trained coaches who help them navigate challenges on and off the course. First Tee - Greater Richmond is proud of all the ways we continue to support our community.
